All about Khloe Kardashian’s Calabasas Luxury Home

Khloe Kardashian sold her Calabasas, California, mansion for $15.5 million. Her initial asking price is $18.5 million, but real estate agents say that even with the $3.5 price cut, Khloe's home is still one of the highest Calabasas home sales in the history of home sales in the area. Khloe has sold the home to YouTuber Dhar Mann and has moved to a mansion that's right next to Kris Jenner's home in Hidden Hills.

The luxury home estate, which Justin Bieber once owned, and Eddie Murphy, features a private walking path, breathtaking views of the Malibu Canyon, a pool, and a guesthouse.

Khloe Kardashian has this luxury house that only other people can dream about. But who says you cannot transform your space with a similar design aesthetic (and without breaking the bank!)? This article will focus on the unique features of Khloe Kardashian’s starter Calabasas mansion.

This includes unique features of the starter mansion such as how to organize your home (because you know that Khloe is extremely organized and clean when it comes to her home), how to decorate your home with flowers (as you will see many fresh flowers around Khloe’s home), how to use mirrors in your home (because Khloe’s Calabasas luxury home is filled with mirrors as this lady is obsessed with mirror selfies!), and even how to design your meditation area!

11 Organizing Hacks to Organize your Home

Khloé is known as the “clean freak” in the Kardashian clan. With a clean house and color-coded pantry, she takes pride in her ability to maintain and organize her home. Kris Jenner was worried about her daughter’s incessant cleaning and sent her to a therapist to work on exposures and learn how to sit with the anxiety. It is apparent in Khloé’s home that she is obsessed with everything looking clean and organized. If you want to have an organized home, here are organizing hacks to keep your home neat.

  1. Use Plastic Bag Hangers for Chips

Next time you are looking for a chip clip, consider repurposing a pants hanger from the closet instead. Then, when your chips are suspended in the air, you have more space to store other things underneath the bags on the actual shelf part.

  1. Use Storage Bins for Bathroom Cabinet Doors

Doors are such a good place to carve out more storage space. In this case, adding bins to the insides of bathroom cabinet doors gives you a space to store items you need to grab often, such as a hair straightener or styling products. If you cannot screw anything into the doors because you are renting or do not want to mar them, try an over-the-door shelving unit. Go for this Benzara Rectangular Storage Bins With Narrow Bottom, Set Of 6 in Brown & Gray, a stylish set for your bathroom!

  1. Use Lazy Susans

Lining things up near the corners of the pantry leaves a square of space or an awkward configuration of items that are hard to reach. Transform this dead space into one of the most useful spots in your pantry with a lazy Susan who will turn everything on it right to your fingertips. Take inspiration with this Steve Silver Avenue Lazy Susan 8mm (Tempered) – Frosted for a stylish touch to your home.

  1. Invest in Rolling Pot Stands for Small Appliances

Tired of bending down and shuffling through rows of Instant Pots, slow cookers, and air fryers? This brilliant hack of putting them on simple, cheap rolling plant stands makes undoing and redoing your small appliance storage space a thing of the past.

  1. Use a Hanging Closet Organizer to Store Board Games

If you do not have extra shelves in your place to store your collection of board games, make some with a few dollars and exactly zero tools. A hanging closet organizer gives you instant shelves in any closet and lets you stack board games off the floor and all in one place. This Baxton Studio Gavin Modern Contemporary Metal 5 Shelf Closet Storage Racking Organizer in Black will give you ample space for all your board games!

  1. Hang a Silverware Organizer on the Wall to Store Jewelry

If you have an old drawer organizer lying around, try adding a few mug hooks, like this Benzara  Hand Carved Wooden Philip Hanger With 5 Wall Mount Hooks in Brown on the inside of the compartments, wall-mounting it, and using it to stash your necklaces, earrings, and other jewelry.

  1. Use a wine rack for your weights

Exercise equipment is bulky and tricky to store in a small apartment. A wine rack offers an unobtrusive and perfectly sized storage solution for the weights you use when you do your workout videos. Camouflage them among the bottles (or vice versa). Take inspiration with this Elk Lifestyle Margaux Wine Rack.

  1. Use Egg Cartons for Christmas Ornaments

Small ornaments fit perfectly in egg cartons. They are cushioned and separated from each other, and the firm box keeps them from getting squished. Being able to stack multiple egg cartons on top of each other is extra nice, as is the fact that this Christmas decor storage will not cost you a thing.

  1. Use Tension Rods to Store Baking Sheets Vertically

Stacked cookware is never ideal. However, using tension rods to create slots in your kitchen cabinets allows you to store baking sheets, muffin tins, and platters vertically so you can see what you have and grab it without having to unstack everything on top of it.

  1. Repurpose Cookie Tins as (Very Traditional) Sewing Boxes

Join the thousands of households who remember a relative storing sewing notion in a cookie tin. If you ever felt that, once the cookies were all gone, that tin was too good to throw away, you were right.

You can store thread, needles, buttons, and basic household sewing supplies in this sturdy and ideally shaped storage solution. Of course, it will also be great for storing other small household items, such as first aid supplies or batteries.

  1. Use Hanging Closet Organizers to Store Paper Products

That pack of paper towels you recently bought from the grocery store is not going to store itself. And you probably do not want to brace yourself for t a paper product avalanche every time you need a new roll. A hanging closet organizer with narrow slots puts paper towel rolls out of the way but within a safe reach.

How to Keep Your Flowers Fresh

You will notice that Khloe Kardashian’s home is filled with fresh flowers, including her favorite peonies! Flowers are a great way for you to bring freshness to your home. If you want to decorate your home with flowers, here are practical tips to keep your flowers fresh.

  • Snip them Up

You have probably heard that you keep flowers fresh by cutting the stem as soon as you get them home. Here is why it is a good practice. Flowers have a vascular system in their stems that draws up water and nutrients to feed the blooms. If you neglect to cut them, air that has been drawn into the stems while they were out of water can block water absorption. Use very sharp scissors or pruning shears, and snip at least one-half inch off the bottom of the stems to be sure you are cutting above possible air bubbles. Schleiter suggests doing this if your flowers are delivered in a box or tied with a rubber band.

  • Put them in Water As soon as Possible

To speed the process, you can cut stems underwater to prevent air bubbles from forming in the stems. It is also okay to put the flowers in a vase of water right after you cut. Arrange your bouquet first, then cut the stems and put them in water.

  • Check the Water Temperature

Room-temperature water is best, with one exception: Blooms from bulbs that flower during cooler months, like anemones, daffodils, and tulips, will do better if the water is below room temperature. If you have unopened flowers and want to speed blooming along, perhaps because you plan to use them as a table centerpiece in the next day or two, use warm water to help them open up more quickly.

  • Remove Below-Water Foliage

Any plant leaves and flowers you leave in the vase water will rot quickly, spreading bacteria that will kill your flowers before their time.

  • Keep them Cool!

Heat will hasten your flowers’ demise, so place arrangements in cool spots, away from heating ducts and vents. You can also keep flowers fresh by avoiding direct sunlight.

  • Change the Water Frequently

bacteria are the enemy, so wash out the vase and refill it at least every three days. Trim another half-inch off the stems while you are at it.

  • Feed them with Flower Food

Those little packets that come with many floral arrangements help keep flowers fresh because they contain sugar to provide a little nourishment. In addition, flower food contains citric acid to keep the pH low and acidic, which helps water move up the stems a bit faster and may reduce wilting and antibacterial powder.

If your arrangement does not include a packet of food or if you have used yours up, you can make your own each time you change the water or before you give the stems a cut. For example, you can mix a few drops of bleach or a clear spirit such as vodka or gin to help fight bacterial growth. Next, you can add a few drops of clear soda or superfine sugar to feed the flowers, and then crush a vitamin C tablet and add it to lower the ph.

How to Decorate your Home with Mirrors

You will notice that Khloe Kardashian’s Calabasas' starter mansion is filled with mirrors! This is because she usually posts in her social media accounts like Instagram and Twitter, many mirror selfies showing off her body and the rooms of her luxury home. If you are fond of having mirror selfies and want to decorate your home with mirrors, here are tips on how you can transform your space accordingly.

  • Use a Mirror to Enlarge your Space

Mirrors create a sense of space, absorb the image and light of space, and make it bounce. Thus, providing a double sensation in both brightness and depth. You could say that strategically placing a mirror in a place in the dining room would be like adding windows.

It is important to remember that one of the keys to a home's energy balance is its decoration. Specifically in the strategy of elements that distribute space and light. Therefore, by decorating with mirrors, we will contribute to the home's harmony and interior.

  • In using Large Scale Mirrors

There are many benefits of using large-scale mirrors like this Elk Home Mansion LED Mirror. Investing in a large mirror will create a great amplitude, in addition to giving the place an undeniable romantic touch. They are also useful in narrow aisles of the house, which in appearance contribute nothing and are difficult to decorate. Placing a large mirror there will change that perception, and all the attention will be on it.

How to Decorate a Zen Room

Khloe's Calabasas luxury mansion has a space overlooking Malibu Bay. She transformed this space into a Zen room where she can pause her hectic life of taping Keeping up with the Kardashians, a businesswoman and being a mom to True. While not everyone can have space to have a majestic view of Malibu Bay, who says that you cannot have your Zen Room? Here are ways you can decorate your space and transform it into a Zen room.

  • Go for Earthy Colors

A Zen-inspired design is all about natural colors, in soft tones, such as white, grey, shades of beige or pink beige, which have the power to induce a sense of relaxation and calmness. Chromatic harmony between the various elements is particularly important, and the visual continuity between walls, furniture, and floors. In order to add contour to a monochrome room, you may always choose to combine a dominant color with matching objects and textured textiles such as white with moleskin or beige with rosewood. To create diversity, combine two matching colors or play with degrades of your favorite color. Take, for example, this Benzara Earthy Area Rug in Polyester With Jute Mesh Backing, Small in Multicolor, which will look great as a meditation rug.

  • Choose Natural and Light Fabrics

Fabrics should stick to the same rule of natural, light, and comfortable. One of the essential elements of your Zen décor is the curtains which provide a sensation of intimacy while reducing noise and blocking air draughts. Give them a special treatment and go for natural textiles, such as linen, wool, or bunting wool and match them with the rest of the room. Take inspiration with this Benzara Soft Knitted Cotton Throw Blanket with Tassels in Brown And White as a home accent for your Zen Room.
